About Us
This is a brief history of the club and the people who run it.
The club was founded in June 1983 by John Timson and Peter Fellows, under the name of Westy Juniors and playing out of the local community center. In 1984 the club moved to Victoria park and played there for the following 6 years until permission was granted for the use of Thomas Boteler High School. In 1989 the club changed the name to Beechfield JFC and has continued its successful development to the present day. A number of teams have now moved to Loushers Lane and Thelwall Schools.
The club is registered to the Cheshire FA and plays in the Warrington Leagues, running teams from Under 6's all the way up to Under 15's.
The club has had players who have gone though the teams and gone onto higher levels with one, Phillip Hadland making a career from the game.
John Timson was made a Life Member of the Warrington Junior League at the 2007/2008 Presentation Night for his services to Junior football.
The club attained Charter Standard in October 2009.
